Bhavishya started program 'स्वाबलंबन' in the year 2017 –18 ―To create income generation source for women in deprived regions‖. The focus of this program is to improve skills so that women become self-relient and financially independent. Diverse vocational trainings like Tailoring, Embroidery, Knitting, Traditional paintings are provided. We also conducts seminars which helps and motivates them to establish their own units with an additional employment prospects. This is an integrated program following principles of 3P of livelihood i.e. Product, Price and Promotion.
The primary objective of this project is to improve the livelihoods of rural Indians in a socially, culturally, and economically sustainable manner. The medium of our intervention is the rich and varied Indian handicraft tradition, practiced by skilled rural artisans, who produce objects of great beauty with strong market potential.
Bhavishya organises training programs for womem in remote villages of Bihar. The training program is designed for women and school dropout girls who can learn tangible skills for economic empowerment.
The villages are very remote and there is no opportunities for economic activities and most of the people are labourer. The male migrates to Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities where after doing long and laborious hours they can save merely 2000/- to send back to family. Girls and women didn’t get chance to go out to cities for higher studies or work instead they are left behind to manage household responsibilities and kids education in very small money sent by the men.Considering this situation it is a good option to skill them in some craft work and connect them to the market by which they can earn some money. It helps them in social and economic empowerment.
Bhavishya also helps them to connect them with affluent market to sale their products. We would highly appreciate if you come forward to help these women by buying their products/help is marketing in your network. The women are not artists but they have learned some skills to earn some money and a lead a respectful life.
You can also donate and help skill more women!
